シダの葉の文様が描かれています。シダは繁殖力の強さから子孫繁栄や多福を呼ぶ文様とされています。

「へりとり染め」という技法で染められています。

「へりとり染め」とは、あらかじめ糊の中に染料を入れ、抜染（抜染）することにより染め入れる、縁取りが特徴の珍しい技法です。

This is a bolt of fabric from Chikusen, a long-established 
yukata manufacturer founded 183 years ago.

The motif is a fern leaf. Ferns are said to bring prosperity and 
good fortune due to their strong reproductive power.

It is dyed using a technique called "Heridori dyeing."
"Heridori dyeing" is a rare technique characterized by its borders, 
in which the dye is first mixed into glue and then discharged.
