Sukiya-bukuro Pouch [SB-20]

Sale price¥5,500

This sukiyabukuro, crafted from upcycled vintage pure silk obi fabric, exudes a sense of luxury and traditional Japanese charm. We designed it so that the beauty and tradition woven into the obi can be enjoyed in daily life, whether used as a pouch for small items or as a secondary bag.

About the Sukiyabukuro

The sukiyabukuro was originally a small bag used to carry tea ceremony utensils. It has traditionally been used to neatly organize essential items for tea gatherings, such as a fukusa (ceremonial cloth), kaishi (paper), a folding fan, small sweets, and a confectionary pick. In recent years, it has become popular as a clutch bag or pouch that complements both traditional Japanese and Western-style clothing.
