This KIMONO Smartphone Shoulder Bag is a luxurious repurposing of a unique, vintage pure silk obi. Crafted from obi fabric featuring delicate embroidery of two auspicious motifs, chrysanthemum and paulownia, this item beautifully merges Japanese elegance with modern practicality.

【Design Features and Meaning】

• Chrysanthemum (Kiku)
  The chrysanthemum is a traditional motif in Japanese culture symbolizing longevity and nobility, and is also used in the Imperial crest.

• Paulownia (Kiri)
  The paulownia symbolizes prosperity and nobility, and has been revered as an auspicious motif since ancient times.

• By combining these two motifs, the design conveys the auspicious meanings of "longevity and prosperity" and "status and blessings," resulting in a highly celebratory piece.
