釘抜きの文様です。
「苦を抜く」「九城を抜く=九つの城を攻め落とす」の語呂合わせから
武士が好んだ文様と言われています。

白地に濃いモスグリーンのお色です。

染めは型に沿って糊を施し染料を注ぎ込む、注染という染色法を採用しております。
独特な技法により、手仕事特有の他には無い染め上がりを醸し出しております。

色落ちすることがございますのでご注意ください。

This is a bolt of fabric from Chikusen, a long-established yukata manufacturer
 founded 183 years ago.

This is a pattern of a nail puller.
It is said that this pattern was favored by samurai due to its play on words,
 "to remove suffering" and "to capture nine castles."

It is a deep moss green color on a white background.

The dyeing method is called chusen, in which glue is applied along a stencil and
 the dye is poured in.
This unique technique produces a one-of-a-kind dyed finish that is 
characteristic of handmade products.
